Teri A. Warren, 65, of East Peoria, peacefully passed away at her home after a courageous 17-year battle with cancer. She was born in Peoria on March 30, 1959, to Elmer and Lois "Gert" (Smith) Giebelhausen. She married her husband of nearly 45 years, Larry Warren, on December 1, 1979, in East Peoria; he survives.
She is also survived by her four sons, Matthew (Ashley) Warren of Homer Glen, Nathen (Kristina) Warren of Bloomington, David (Ariel) Warren of Washington, D. C., and Joseph (Lindsey Henrikson) Warren of Chicago; four siblings, Rick (Linda) Giebelhausen, Veralyn Harr, Dave (Julie) Giebelhausen, and Jeff (Lori) Giebelhausen, all of East Peoria; and five grandchildren, Everett, Owen, Auden, Liam, and Sophia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Teri graduated from East Peoria Community High School (Class of 1977) and worked as a healthclerk at Central Junior High School.
Teri loved being a grandma and spending time with her family, including their dog, Pretzel. She also enjoyed baking, fishing, and anything she could find with a penguin or a sloth.
