Terra Farris Obituary
Terra Lynn Farris, age 61, of Goreville, Illinois, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana, with her loving family by her side.
Terra was born April 19, 1962, a daughter of Frances (Vinson) Miller. She married the love of her life, Gary Lynn Farris on June 25, 1992 in Paducah, Kentucky. Terra touched many lives as the manager at Angel Acres Assisted Living, which she took over as the family business when her mother passed.
She is survived by her husband- Gary Lynn Farris of Goreville, IL; two daughters- Tiffany (Scott) Jackson and Amanda (Jody Green) Pritchett; seven grandchildren- Dakota (Miranda) VanCleve, Justin Clay, Chase (Mady Short) Pritchett, Wes VanCleve, Caden Hopkins, Cyleigh Holle, and Jaycee Pritchett; four siblings- Tim (Marilyn) Hunt, Ronnie Hunt, Janet Smith, and Gregory Hunt; and her Great Grandchildren- Raelynn and Daxton VanCleve, and Emeri and Ellie Pritchett. She is preceded in death by her children- J.R. Clay, Nikkie Brogan, and infant son- Steven Clay; her mother- Frances (Vinson) Miller; and one brother- Jim Hunt.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024, 11:00 AM at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Scott Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Busby Cemetery in Goreville.
