Terrell Hewatt, aged 80, of Cumming, Georgia peacefully departed this life on September 10, 2024, in Canton, Georgia. Born on September 10, 1944, Terrell was a cherished family member and friend whose passions and pursuits left a lasting legacy.
Throughout his life, Terrell found joy in simple pleasures; he loved to fish, dance, and meticulously put puzzles together. These hobbies not only provided him with happiness but also allowed him to connect with others, sharing moments of laughter and companionship. His enthusiasm for life was infectious, and he approached each day with a spirit that inspired those around him.
Terrell is survived by his beloved children: Melinda Jean Ingram, aged 56 of Cleveland, Terry Elaine Pines, aged 53 of Flowery Branch, Debra Delores Hewatt, aged 48 of Cumming, and Christopher Jason Hewatt. He is also remembered fondly by his sisters, Gail Heaton of Toccoa, Dail Cox of Cumming, and Kim Hewatt of Auburn, and 10 grands 6 great grands. The love and support within this family has created a strong bond that will carry forward as they honor his memory.
A visitation in honor of Terrell will take place on September 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory in Cumming, Georgia. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Island Ford Baptist Church in Buford, Georgia, starting at 3:00 PM, with concluding services at 4:00 PM.
As we remember Terrell Hewatt, we are grateful for the moments he shared with us, his love for family, and his zest for life. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the family to purchase a headstone.
