Terrell Threadgill was born on February 1, 1967 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to George and Bernice Threadgill. On June 12, 2025, God called him for his eternal rest.
"Uncle Fruit " as he was affectional called by family and friends lived in Thomasville his whole life. He was a warm genuine person with a gentle manner and a kind spirit. He graduated from Thomasville High School where he was a standout athlete in Football and Track & Field. He coached little league football. He worked in manufacturing for many years.
He was preceded in death by his Father George E. Threadgill, Grandparents Virgina (Buck) and William (Tump) McCall, Geneva (Granny) and Theodore (Papa) Threadgill. Two Aunts, Ms. Inettia Mcall and Ms. Tara Jackson a brother Karl Threadgill and two sisters Kimbroughly Threadgill and Keshia Threadgill., and a brother-in-law, Glen Shepard.
He leaves behind one daughter DeAundra (Mark Jr) Smith and three grandchildren Za'Markus Smith, Brayden Smith and Myeasha Smith all of Winston Salem, NC; his beloved mother, Mrs. Bernice M. Threadgill of the home; one brother Billy Threadgill of Charlotte, NC and three sisters Georgia Sheperd, of Thomasville, NC, Venus (Vincent) R. Ali of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Kelly (Leon) Murphy of Albany, GA; three nephews Patrick Weldon of Charlotte, NC, Khallid Ali and Khamisi Ali of Florida and a great nephew Giovanni Manuel Weldon of Boston, MA; two aunts Nancy Flippin of Thomasville, NC and Hazel Wright of Lexington, NC and a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins and other family and friends. We offer a very special thank you to Sharon Flippin, Teresa Dance, Elyse Griffin, Archie Witherspoon
