Terrence J. Flatley, age 69, of Erie passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Twinbrook Healthcare and Rehab Center following an extended illness. He was born April 3, 1956 in Erie, the son of the late Joseph R. Flatley, Sr. and Rosemary (Pat) Price Flatley.
Terry was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and worked as a Bus Driver with Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA).
His hobbies included watching sports, particularly baseball, and was a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He also was passionate about politics and loved listening to folk and blues music. He was very proud of his Irish heritage.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John L. Flatley; two sisters, Maureen Moose and Karen Flatley, and a brother-in-law, Don Metzger.
Terrence is survived by his wife, Linda (Galbreath) Flatley; a daughter, Tara Flatley; stepdaughter Heather Batson; stepson Derek Batson and a grandson, AJ Bias. He is the brother of Joseph (Linda) Flatley, Kevin (Kathleen) Flatley, Timothy Flatley, Steve (Andrea) Flatley, Patrick Flatley, Kathleen Flatley, Rosemary Jackson, Ann Metzger, Jane Letto, and Christine Flatley. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services Inc., Downtown, 602 W.10th St., Erie on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at which time Funeral Services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Family Hospice Erie, 1700 Peach St., Erie, PA 16501.
