Terri Lynn Sharp

Terri Lynn Sharp departed this life on Thursday, October 9th, at the age of 58 years in Tulsa Oklahoma.
The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home, 528 S. 3rd Street, McAlester, Oklahoma to celebrate the life of Terri.
Terri was born on May 25th 1967 to Joyce Williams and Benny Williams in McAlester, Oklahoma.
Terri graduated from Wilburton High School with the class of 1985. Her classmates described her as funny, witty, and the girl everyone wanted to be around.
After graduation, the chapter of motherhood began as the most meaningful part of her story - one written with love, sacrifice, and the gentle strength only a mother knows. Terri was a mom for 40 years; she never missed a practice, game, or concert of any kind for her children while they grew, and never missed a phone call while each of her kids were adults. Terri was enthusiastic about each of her children, and this overflowed to the 11 grandkids and 4 bonus grandkids she has today.
Family was always the center of Terri's life, and one of the many ways she expressed that love was through her cooking. Terri's kitchen was the heart of her home - a place filled with laughter, stories, and the smell of something wonderful on the stove. Her love for cooking was more than a hobby; it was how she showed love. She passed this passion down to her children and grandchildren, who carry on her recipes and her warmth in their own homes.
She was loved and admired by many. Her father survives her: Benny Williams of Hartshorne; her children: Jared Sharp and wife Kari of Broken Arrow, Mandy Bartley and husband Kevin of Wilburton, Molly Lawrence and husband Bryan of Wilburton and Emily Kibart and husband Kevin of Wilburton; Her beloved grandchildren: Jaden, Cason, Kaylee, Nolan, Rhylan, Randee, Tripp, Finnick, Preston, Parker, Payton, Charleigh, Karli, Kreed, and Lakyla; her sister Cathy Holt of Mustang; along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Terri is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Williams; nephews, Justin Blankenship, and Brian Blankenship; brother, Roy Williams; and biological father, Ray Chapman.
