It is with deep love and heavy hearts, that we share the passing of Terri Lynn Weaver, who left this world far too soon after a courageous battle on Monday, August 11, 2025. Terri's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family and friends, her generous spirit, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met.
Terri graduated with honors from Buckeye High School Class of 1977, and was voted Buckeye High School Homecoming Queen her senior year. After high school, she attended CETA Business School in 1978 and went to work at the D.A.'s office at the age of 18, where she continued to work until 1986. In Terri's words, she "Love, loved her job at the D.A.'s office!" Following that, she worked for the U.S. Courts as magistrate courtroom deputy from 1986-2002. In 2004, Terri wrote and published a book called "Chasing Happiness".
Outside of work, she poured her heart into the things that brought her joy- sending thoughtful cards for every occasion to her friends and family, enjoying her collection of vinyl records and music, her massive collection of movies, and most of all caring for her beloved dog, Miles.
Her generosity knew no bounds. Terri quietly and faithfully supported countless organizations close to her heart, including St. Judes's Children's Research Hospital, the Humane Society, Toys for Tots, the Local Food Bank, and one extremely close to her heart, Tunnel to Towers. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a charitable organization that honors the sacrifices of FDNY firefighter, Stephen Siller, who died on September 11, 2001, while responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center. The foundation's mission is to support first responders, military personnel, and their families by providing mortgage-free homes, building smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans, and supporting homeless veterans.
She gave not for the recognition, but simply because she wanted to make the world a better place.
Those who knew her will forever remember her thoughtfulness, her humor, and her deep, abiding compassion. Though we grieve her loss, we take comfort in knowing that Terri is now whole, healthy, happy, and at peace- the peace she so desperately longed for. She has been freed from her recent struggles, reunited with her Creator, and surrounded by light and love. Terri's kindness, love, and laughter, will echo in the hearts of all her were blessed to know her. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy of generosity and compassion will live on in those she touched.
In lieu of flowers, Terri would love you to pick a charity from above and donate in her memory.
