Terri Wetherington Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home - Lewisville on Jan. 23, 2026.
Terri Wetherington passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to family and friends. She was a woman whose life reflected grace, strength, and compassion, and her presence brought warmth and encouragement to all who knew her.

Terri was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend. She was also the very best Gigi to her three beautiful grandchildren-Beckham, Remi, and Stevie-who brought her endless joy and pride. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave of herself freely through her time, her prayers, and her unwavering support. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, whether through a listening ear, a thoughtful word, or a simple act of kindness.

Her favorite moments were spent traveling with friends and family, enjoying relaxed afternoons filled with cookouts and pool parties, and expressing her creativity through crafting. Terri had a special talent for creating custom glitter tumblers and other personalized items, pouring joy and beauty into everything she made.

Terri's entrepreneurial spirit led to the creation of My Glitter Garage, where she became a trusted resource for supplies within the craft industry and a mentor to many, generously sharing her knowledge and teaching others the proper application of her products. She found great fulfillment in helping others succeed and took pride in the community she built.

Her faith was a guiding light in her life. Terri lived with a deep trust in God, and that faith shaped the way she loved and served others. Even during difficult seasons, she showed remarkable courage and hope, reminding those around her of what truly matters.

Terri is survived by her husband, David Wetherington; her children Kyle and Erin; and her stepchildren Preston and Madison-though to Terri, they were all simply her children, loved equally and without distinction. She is also survived by a wide circle of family and friends whose lives are better because of her. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Nolan; her mother, Brenda Nolan, and her brother, Kerry Nolan.
