BEVERLY FARMS - Terrill Jean (Nugent) Renwick,76, of Beverly Farms, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

Terry was born on August 15th, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio, a long twenty-three minutes before her twin sister, Carol, to parents Edmond Burke Nugent and Eva Jean (Cash) Nugent. Sisters Nancy, Kathy, Julie (decd. 2025), Laurie, and little brother Edmond Jr. (Ned’), soon joined the large and loving family that moved often to places like Johnstown, PA, Upper Montclair, NJ, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA and Barrington, RI, where she attended high school and college nearby at Roger Williams University.

Terry was preceded in death by her husband, David Renwick, where they met working at ‘The Surf’ restaurant in Magnolia, MA. Together they raised three sons in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA and Rehoboth, MA: Tate Renwick (Beverly, MA) Michael Renwick (Rehoboth, MA) and Peter Renwick (Whitinsville, MA).

With a keen eye for style and instinct for business, Terry worked in the New Age fashion and gift industry for over 40 years, first as a co-owner with her father of Pyramid Books in Providence, RI and Salem, MA and then as a head buyer for the Pyramid Collection catalog at the Potpourri Group where her brand and catalog were sold. Her buying trips took her as far as India and China and countless US locations scouting (and ruthlessly negotiating) for unique items for her loyal customer base. Her colleagues turned into lifelong friends. They adored her for her mentorship, humor and kindness. Terry retired in 2024.

Her true enjoyment came spending time with her grandchildren: Reid (15) and twins, Jack and Maren (13) of Beverly and Fiona (5) and Miles (3) of Whitinsville, for whom they were lucky to have her as a constant presence as the fun and energetic “Grammy”. Her arrival was always accompanied by warm breakfast sandwiches and donuts for all, but not before she planted everyone with her special forehead kiss.

Terry loved Cape Ann and the beauty around it. She adored the coast and would spend her time at West Beach for daily walks or cocktails at sunset talking with her friends. The top of her dresser was filled with little treasures she found on her walks- a smooth stone with a stripe around it (“they’re good luck!”), or a small piece of unique driftwood that caught her eye.

Fruitless treatments and setbacks from Lymphoma ended her life too quickly. Terry chose to live her final days like she did her life, with a house full of her adoring family and friends. We were able to bask in her light, love, her brilliant wisdom, and her most special trait- her unwavering eternal optimism.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life honoring Terry which will be held at Turner Hill Golf Club, Manor House Lane, Ipswich, on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, from 2 to 5 P.M.. Assisting the family with the arrangements is O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) DANVERS.
