Terry Baker, age 72, passed away on October 5th, 2025. Terry was born in Columbus Ohio on April 10, 1953. He grew up in Columbus and Grove City, OH where he was a 1971 graduate of Grove City High School. In Grove City, he dated and then married his childhood sweetheart, the love of his life, Leslie, on June 1st, 1974. Together they raised a family with their son Brant and shared over 51 years of marriage. Terry worked for and retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. He spent a large portion of his retirement years, with Leslie, back and forth from their happy place in their cottage at Indian Lake, creating memories with their grandchildren Amanda and Quentin along the way. Aside from his family, Terry received a lot of joy from spending time on his multiple hobbies. Spending time in his yard and tending to his gardens where he could reap the benefits of his labor. He loved to work in his barn creating items out of stained glass. He would feed and watch the birds that he and Leslie would draw to their yard. Terry would unwind, spending time with his dogs Lindy and Emily while watching old westerns. Terry was a kind and wonderful man that had a bright and loving personality that touched everyone that got to know him. His kindness, loyalty, work ethic and sense of humor will live forever in the memories of those that knew him the best.
Terry is preceded in death by his father Robert. Survived by his wife Leslie, son Brant (Amy), grandchildren Amanda and Quentin (Kaitlyn).
