Educated by West Chester School District, Terry graduated from Henderson High School class of 1976
Terry served in the Army from 1976-1979 with an honorable discharge. Soon after serving in the army, he met Teal Jackson and knew instantly she was the one. They would later marry and have 3 children.
He worked at Chester County Hospital for 35 years until he retired.
He loved watching his 2 grandsons, Aiden and Gaven, play football and run track and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Eagles being his favorite team. In his downtime enjoyed spending time with his best friends Dwayne Bradley and Dennis Hallager. He also really enjoyed summer BBQs with his brothers and close family. His dedication to his family was everything to him and he always showed up for his grandchildren who affectionately called him POP POP.
Terry leaves to celebrate his life daughter Tonya (Jonathan) Boyer of Kennett Square PA, son Tyler (Dominique) Boyer of Media PA and son Taylor Boyer of Kennett Square. Mother Mary Earlene Boyer of West Chester, Brothers Joseph (Amelia) Boyer of Downingtown, Lee (Mardette) Boyer of Downingtown PA, Darian (LaDoris) Boyer of Exton PA, Gino Boyer of West Chester PA, Sister Marian Boyer of Wilmington DE and Brother Ari (Fellini) Boyer of Dover PA, Grandsons Jaylen Ritch, Aiden Ritch, Gaven Ritch, Dante Boyer and Granddaughter Savanna Boyer, nieces and nephews and a host of many cousins. He was preceded in death by his Father Joseph H Boyer and beloved wife Teal Boyer

I only knew Terry the last few years through work but always enjoyed seeing him at the end of the day, sometimes chatting for a couple of minutes. My heartfelt condolences to his family. He was obviously rich in love and support. Sending prayers.

Terry, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
