Ivy Boyer Obituary
Yadkinville – Ivy Jane Benton Boyer, 89, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025. She was born February 8, 1936 in Yadkin County to the Late Rovey Lester Benton and Janie Swaim Benton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Bernice Mendenhall, Dorothy Kimmer, Eveyln Bruce, Arlene Hutchens; brothers, Earl Benton, Travis Benton, Reaford Benton, Garvin Benton, Hildon Benton, Thad Benton, Jimmy Benton. She is survived by her sisters, Linda Zachary, Phyllis Faw; and several nieces and nephews. Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Eddy Driver. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Boyer family.
