Terry Michael Bradford

Terry Michael Bradford, 51, of Bushnell, Illinois, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at his residence. He was born on June 6, 1974, in Columbia, Louisiana, to Donnie Ray and Gracie Lee (Peck) Bradford. From the age of two, Terry was lovingly raised by his father and stepmother, Linda (Courson) Bradford.
Terry is survived by his stepmother Linda; his three beloved children, Washita Bradford and Dalen Bradford, both of Cuba, Illinois and Austin (Abby Greenway) Bradford of Peoria, IL ; his longtime companion, Jessica Remy of Cuba, Illinois; three brothers, Donnie (Toni) Bradford of Hemphill, Texas, Roy (Jenny) Bradford of Ashland, Missouri, and Jeremy (Carol) Courson of Maquon, Illinois; and two sisters, Elainea (Clayton) Cravens of Furlough, Arkansas, and Tashina (Mike) Ebert of Bushnell, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Angela and April Bradford, and one brother, Jeff Bradford.
A 1994 graduate of Cuba High School, Terry was most recently employed with West Central FS in Bushnell. He was a passionate outdoorsman who found joy in the simple thingsmushroom hunting, camping, and searching for arrowheads. But his greatest love was fishing. Whether casting a line at sunrise or sharing stories by the water, Terry found peace and purpose in every catch.
Above all, Terry's heart belonged to his children. He was immensely proud of Washita and Dalen and the paths they are carving for themselves. His love and pride for them were the foundation of his life.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Arnett officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial of ashes will follow at West Midway Cemetery near London Mills, Illinois.
