Terry Spencer Clark, Age 76, of Sunnyvale, Texas, was called home to the Lord on January 4, 2025.
Terry was born December 13, 1948 in Dallas, Texas, the son of A.P. and Pearl Clark. Terry grew up in Dallas and graduated from W.W. Samuell High School in 1967. Terry married Denise McFaul on December 19, 1970 in Dallas, Texas. Terry and Denise enjoyed 53 years of marriage prior to her passing on February 24, 2024. Those years blessed Terry and Denise with 2 sons and one grandson.
Terry was an honest hard working family man with tremendous character. Terry dedicated his life to always providing for his family through his work as an Architect. Terry graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Architecture and then became a licensed Architect in the State of Texas. In his work Terry was always dedicated to getting the job done regardless of the time or effort required. Known for his professionalism and intelligence he remained working for his entire life. Although he was known to be quiet and reserved at times, his quick wit and timing would bring laughter when it was needed most. Terry showed strength and courage throughout his life, always facing adversity head on without complaint. To his family he was always present even though the demands of work would pull him away at times. To his wife and sons his love for them was never questioned and it was the clear driving force in everything he did. Terry loved taking the family on vacations which included visiting Beavers Bend State Park, in Oklahoma, as often as possible as that was his favorite destination. Terry also took pride in his role as a member of the board of Pathways Fellowship Church where he and his wife developed many lasting friendships.
Later in life Terry gained the title of PawPaw when he was blessed with his only grandchild Carson who brought him much joy and laughter.
Terry is survived by his children: Spencer Clark, Jason Clark and daughter-in-law Carrie Clark; grandson: Carson Clark; two sisters and their husbands: Denise and Greg Carver, and Gail and Ray Roberts; sister and brother-in-laws: Wynelda and Tom Willard, and Tamy and Curt Hasbrouck; numerous nieces, one nephew and countless friends.
Preceding Terry in death are wife Denise Clark and parents A.P. and Pearl Clark.
Funeral/Memorial services will be held January 24, 2025, at 2pm at New Hope Funeral Home located in Sunnyvale, Texas, with Pastor Scott Gray officiating.
