Terry Lynn Cunningham Sr. was born in Nashville TN to Vesta May Brooks Cunningham and Johnny C. Cunningham Sr. He worked as a Union Boilermaker in construction. He enjoyed fishing for all types of fish. He loved fishing so much that he invented the Ultimate Noodle (sets the hook when noodle fishing). Cooking for his family was a particular joy for all concerned. His banana pudding and chicken dumplings could not be rivaled and they were devoured quickly.
Terry is survived by his children: Terry (Paige) Cunningham Jr., Kevin (Rachel) Cunningham, Brittany Cunningham, and Christopher (Taylor) Cunningham; daughter in law: Kristina Cunningham; grandchildren: Alexus, Taylor, Cameron, Bentley, Luca, Stetson, James, Izalea, Ezra, Tobias, Maurice Jr., Trevon, Kiley, Lakeisha, and Caitlyn; brothers: Johnny (Billie McCrary) Cunningham Jr and Barry (Kimberly) Cunningham; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Vesta May and Johnny "Big John" Cunningham, and brother Jerry W. "Red" Cunningham Sr.
