Terry S. Hobaugh

Terry S. Hobaugh, 59, of Lewisville, TX, formerly of Paintertown, died Thursday, January 23, 2025. He was born December 6, 1965 in Jeannette a son of Robert C. Hobaugh of Paintertown and the late Claudia A. (McGraw) Hobaugh. Terry was a graduate of Penn Trafford High School, Class of 1984 and studied cosmetology at the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. He was a self-employed hair stylist but much more than that, he was a spark with an infectious smile and enjoyed dancing with awesome dance moves. Over the years his extended family of friends had grown across the country and stands as a testament to the love and respect people have for Terry. He was a member of Paintertown Evangelical Lutheran Church and Shidle Lodge, No. 601, F & A M. In addition to his father he is survived by his siblings, Randy L. Hobaugh and his wife Deborah, Bonnie Himes, and Sandy Yeargers and her husband Carl; 8 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 15, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, with masonic and funeral services following at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to Paintertown Evangelical Church, 1001 Government Rd., Irwin, PA 15642.
