Terry Huckaby

Mr. Terry Douglas Huckaby, age 72, of Hendersonville passed away on May 17, 2024. He was born on February 28, 1952 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Barry and Rosie Huckaby. 

Terry was a member of the GodWhy Church. He was also an honorary member of the Hendersonville VFW.

Terry enjoyed working. In his free time, he enjoyed cruises, Nascar, playing poker, and slot machines. 

Terry lived life to the fullest. He was adored by his grandchildren and was the greatest PawPaw in the world.

In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Huckaby; and his brother-in-law, Don Talley.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Phila Huckaby; his children, Steven Huckaby (Laila Huckaby) and Teri Douglas (Adam Jackson); granddaughters, Addison Douglas (16), Bella Huckaby (15), Mia Huckaby (11), and Audrey Douglas (5); and siblings, Patricia Talley, Ed Huckaby, and Randy Huckaby (Wanda Huckaby). 

Visitation for Terry will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 27075). The funeral service for Terry will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075). Burial will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075).
