Terry Irons

Terry M. Irons, 73, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at IU Health Arnett Hospital. He was born December 8, 1951, in Frankfort to Weymeth “Mike” and Ruby (Gray) Irons. He married Christina Hight on October 14, 2009, and she survives.

Terry graduated from Frankfort High School, class of 1969. He worked as a carpenter and owned his own business, Irons Builders. He enjoyed gardening, casinos, traveling, and riding his Harley Davidson. He loved his family and enjoyed cook outs and camping with them. He was an honest hard-working man with a great sense of humor. He was loved by all that knew him. He was always willing to teach others and help whenever he could. He will be missed by many.

Along with his wife of 15 years, Terry is survived by his daughter, Lavender Irons; stepchildren, Danny and Michael Green and Crystal (Michael) Caldwell; his brother, Gary (Nancy) Irons; grandchildren, Shantel Irons, Bladen Irons; step-grandchildren, Colin and Abby Carter, Monique Brooksher, Andrea Gutierrez, Mya Mezick, Daniel Green, Lyla Green, Jarek Green, Carson Wicker and Liberty Wicker; and great grandchild Kenyon Rodriguez; niece, Dana (Lisa) McGuire; and nephew, Scott (Cassie) Irons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepdaughter, Destiny Carter.

Visitation will be held from Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 11am until the time of the service at 12pm, at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. It will be an informal sharing of memories, and all are welcome to share. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers of memorial contributions may be made to Clinton County Cancer.
