Terry Johnson

Terry Tyrone Johnson, affectionately known as "Country" to his many friends, was born in Winnsboro, South Carolina, to Frankie Y. Johnson and the late Otis Thomas Chapman Johnson. He was educated in the Fairfield County School District, where he was known for his friendly nature and adventurous spirit.
Terry's journey took him to Tennessee, where he attended Job Corps and discovered a love for travel, hard work, and meeting new people. After returning home to South Carolina, he worked in his community before making Connecticut his home for the past 22 years. There, he built lasting friendships and found a chosen family who lovingly called him "Country." He shared a special bond with his dear friend, Diane Chatman.
He is survived by his children Raheem Wise, Hakeem Johnson, Lakeithia Deontrenice Johnson, and Kendrick Lee'Darius Weldon; his devoted mother, Frankie Y. Johnson; brothers John (Monica) Yarborough, Otis (Lisa) Johnson Jr., and Moses (Michelle) Johnson; sisters Alisa (Matthew) Rice, Kristie (Kirk) Bryan, and Shamieka (Michael) Sims; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otis Thomas Chapman Johnson; sisters Brenda, Linda, and Thamieka; brothers Vincent and Odell; and his grandparents.
