Terry Lee Konkey, 71, of Manteno, IL passed away on August 16, 2024 in Fort Worth, TX. She was born in Harvey, IL to Burton Lee Roberts and Jean Mary Papela.
Terry leaves behind her children, Dennis (Phillis) Konkey, Jr. and Nicholas (Kristina) Konkey; grandchildren, Courtney Konkey and Victor Rieder; and siblings, Annie Thibo, Rosemary Gentile, Jean Curran, and Cherisa Mills.
She married Dennis Konkey on April 28, 1971. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2023.
Terry was also preceded in death by her father, Burt (Rudy Goodman) Roberts and her mother, Jean (Bill) Judd.
Being a part of the Carnival Amusement Industry, North American Midway Entertainment, for over 50 years, Dennis and Terry traveled and were able to see much of the country. She was a part of Avon, Showman’s League, and OABA. Terry enjoyed collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia, Precious Moments, carousel horses, and everything watermelon. She was always working on diamond dot paintings or crocheting something!
A visitation will be on Saturday, August 24, from 9:30am until a service at 11:30am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
