Mr. Terry Everette Ledbetter, 70, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his daughter's residence. A native of Cleveland County, he was born on, April 1, 1954, son of the late Jerry William Ledbetter, Sr. and Nell Bolton Ledbetter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, one brother, Jerry William Ledbetter, Jr., one sister, Frances Mallet, and one granddaughter, Donna Vess.
Mr. Ledbetter is survived by his sweet wife, Karen Ledbetter of the home, one son Jerry William Ledbetter, III of Gastonia, NC, two daughters, Donna Bromley and husband Aaron of Charlotte, NC, and April Ledbetter Gardner and husband Scotty of Shelby, NC, one sister Barbara Luffman and husband Dennis of Myrtle Beach, SC, one granddaughter, Paige Loughman.
Terry worked as a Freight Relocation Engineer for many years. During those years he worked for Walmart Transportation and Overnight just to name a couple. Terry proudly served in the United States Army. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
The family will receive friends as attendees leave the memorial service.
A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, February 17, 2025, at, Cleveland Funeral Service and Crematory Chapel officiated by Rev. Shane Atkins.
Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to The Shriners Hospital for Children or to the (VA) Veterans Administration.
