Terry Allen Lohman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Allen Lohman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, on September 24, 2025, at the age of 74. Terry was born on March 24, 1951, in Prosser, Washington.
Terry was raised in a loving family, the son of Esther M. (Kemler) Lohman and Albert H. Lohman Jr. He attended school in Grandview, Washington, before moving to Tonganoxie, Kansas in 1968, where he graduated from Tonganoxie High School in the Class of 1970.
On June 27, 1981, Terry married the love of his life, Karol L. Palmer. Their union spanned an incredible 44 years.
Throughout his life, Terry was a lifelong farmer and developed a passion for agriculture from a young age. He began driving a semi for Palmer Trucking in 1991 and later enjoyed a fulfilling role as a school bus driver for Tonganoxie High School along with his farming.
Terry's love for livestock began in his childhood raising pigs with his Dad, Grandpa and Uncle. He showed pigs in 4-H. Collecting not only show ribbons, but also winning the State 4-H top swine recordbook award, earning a trip to Washington D.C. Later in life, sharing his passion and dedication to livestock showing with his sons and niece. His interests also included an admiration for John Deere tractors, particularly the 4020 diesel model, a love of Chevrolet pickup trucks, and NASCAR racing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Esther and Albert Lohman Jr; his mother-in-law, Norma Jean Palmer; father-in-law, A.D. "Bud" Palmer; Uncle, Charles 'Sam' Lohman; brother-in-law, Jeff Bowers; brother-in-law, John Thomas; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Thomas.
Terry is survived by his wife, Karol. His sons Tyler Lohman and Trey Lohman (Amanda), and granddaughter Wrenleigh Mae Lohman. Sisters Marsha Graf (Clint) and Lori Bowers. Niece Molly Kling (Darren), great-niece Avery Crews. Many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wrenleigh Mae Educational Fund or Jarbalo Church
Terry Lohman leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and dedication that will continue on. We celebrate his life and the countless memories we shared, holding him forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be 1pm to 3pm, Sunday, September 28th, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. The Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Monday, September 29th, at the Jarbalo Community Bible Church, burial to follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Basehor, Kansas.
