Terry Alan Walker, 71, of Hobbs, NM, passed away peacefully in his sleep February 6, 2024, at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Sat. Feb 17th, 2024, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Uvalde, Texas
He was born in Big Springs, Texas to Perry and Sunny (Merideth) Walker.
Terry was a retired horse trainer and past New Mexico Horsemans Association President.
He is survived by his three daughters, Stacy Nunn and husband, Jonathan of The Colony, TX, Sunni Walker of Sapulpa, OK and Nicki Cornelius and husband, Trent of Weatherford, TX and; two sisters, Vickie Eoff and husband, Larry of Early, TX and Sheryl Kelley of Weatherford, TX; grandchildren, Makayla Nunn, McKenzie Nunn, Tyler Stringfellow, Nickie Stringfellow, Taylor Stringfellow and Kencaid Cornelius; companion, Barbara Brown of Liberty Hill, Texas; nieces and nephews, Travis Mitchel, Perry Kelly, and Stephanie Rye.
He was preceded in death by his parents Perry and Sunny Walker.
