Terry Melvin Walters was born on March 18, 1951, in Colorado Springs, CO to Melvin and Edith Walters as the second of three children. He passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 73 from a short but intense fight with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his family as he passed peacefully.
Terry lived a long and fulfilled life. He married his high school sweetheart Janet in 1972 and proceeded to have 2 girls, Michelle and Valerie. He got his first degrees from Trinidad State Junior College and after many years of hard work in night classes, he got his Bachelor’s from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1996. He worked as a software engineer for over 40 years.
Terry had many hobbies and interests, including 1958 Corvettes, hockey, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. He loved tinkering around with anything electronic.
Terry is survived by his wife Janet, his daughters Michelle and Valerie, and his younger brother Gerald Walters.
Services will be held January 25, 2025. at 2:00 pm at St Lukes United Methodist Church 8817 S Broadway, Littleton, CO 80129.
