Terry White Obituary
Terry Dean White, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, 76, of Olympia, WA. passed away Thursday March 26th at his home with his family at his side.
Terry was born in Goodland, Kansas on March 9th, 1950, to Virgel White and Ruby (Neff) White. He grew up in Sharon Springs, Kansas and graduated from Sharon Springs High School in 1968. He attended Fort Hays State College (University) with degrees in business and nursing. His nursing career spanned 40 years and took him to Texas, Maine, Wyoming, and Washington.
On August 14, 1982, he was united in marriage to Janet Vogler White. They celebrated 43 years together and raised three wonderful children. Terry loved spending time with his family. His hobbies included fishing and tending to the yard, garden, fruit trees, and berries that he had planted years before.
He is survived by his wife, son Nathan White of Olympia, Kendra White and partner Eric Wilson of Olympia, and son Adam and wife Victoria White of Yelm, WA. One granddaughter, Arabella. A brother Roger (Delores) of Omaha, Nebraska and a sister, Beverly (Tom) Carpenter of Stockton, Kansas. Brother-in-law Lynn Vogler of Fairbanks, Alaska.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
The memory and love for him will remain. Time will dim the pain, but the memory will remain.
Arrangements by Funeral Alternatives. A private family memorial is planned.
