Terry E. Yurchak

Terry E. "The Governor" Yurchak, age 68, of Wattsburg, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at UPMC Hamot Hospital. He was born in Erie, on March 15, 1957, the son of the late John and Margaret Boyd Yurchak.

Terry graduated from Seneca High School in 1975. He was a member of the Fort LeBoeuf American Legion, South Erie Turners, and the Siebenbuerger Club. Terry enjoyed fishing, bowling, riding his motorcycle and was a good pool shark. He loved his pets, animals, and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas W. Yurchak, Sr.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, June (Sis) Almeda Yurchak; his son, Zachary Yurchak; his daughter, Julie Trayer (Mitchell); his brother, Timothy J. Yurchak; his sister, Patricia Stankiewicz (Larry); three grandchildren, Nathaniel, James, and Natalya; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. on Monday, September 15th from 3 p.m. until time of funeral service there at 6 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
