Thad Bramblett, 92, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed from this life peacefully on April 20, 2024. Thad was born on August 3,1931 during the height of the Depression which required him to learn the meaning of hard work and the value of service to others from an early age. Both of these attributes were certainly displayed daily throughout his life. After graduation from the Cumming Public School's class of 1949(The 49'ers) Thad joined the United States Air Force. He served his country honorably as an airframe and powerplant mechanic stationed overseas during the Korean War. Upon returning home and starting a family with his new wife, Mary Ann Jones, Thad began careers at Lockheed-Martin and the Forsyth County Board of Education. With numerous certifications, there was rarely a mechanical issue that he couldn't remedy. Thad also owned and operated the only television repair shop in the West Forsyth area in addition to being founder, co-owner, and producer at Bramfaulk Records.
Although a devoted family man and accomplished technician, Thad was first and foremost a follower of Christ. He enjoyed spreading God's word to all those he met and was proud to be a member and Deacon at Friendship Baptist Church. Walking close with the Lord gave Thad the strength and willingness to help others. A true servant, he would do anything within his means to help his friends, family, and even strangers. As recently as a few weeks ago he stated himself, "All I wanted to do was help people and I hope I have." Yes, Mr. Bramblett, you helped everyone you met and touched the lives of many in ways beyond understanding.
Thad was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Jones Bramblett, and his son, Michael Anthony Bramblett. He is survived by Daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Bramblett and Ricky Blackwell of Canton, Ga and Sandra Bramblett and Patrick Maluy of Seattle, Washington. His Grandchildren include Angie Chadwick Barnes, Anthony Barnes, Mark Bramblett, Jessica Bramblett, Kyle Maluy, Raven Juarez Maluy, and Hillary Maluy. His Great Grandchildren include Carson Bramblett, Griffin Bramblett, Micah Bramblett, Samuel Barnes, Madison Bramblett, Jonah Barnes, Jace Bramblett, and Yvonne Maluy.
