Thaddeus J. Tazioli

Thaddeus Jude Tazioli passed away peacefully on August 1, surrounded by his loving family. Thaddeus Jude (TJ) was the much loved father of Thaddeus Jude Jr. (Teddy) and brother to eight sibling's: Cynthia, Geno Jr (and Margaret Aiston), Ron (recently deceased) (and Janet Kala) Lou (and Nancy Fallon), Tom (and Cory Virzi), Mark (and Laura Mitoral), Rick (and Luana Palandri) and Rob (and Libby Stern). Thaddeus Jude was the proud uncle to many nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces and great grand nieces. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Geno and Margaret Tazioli.

Thaddeus Jude attended Loyola Academy in Wilmette and was a Northwestern University graduate, where he graduated with honors. Thaddeus Jude was a man of many talents and areas of knowledge, a true Renaissance Man. He had a lifelong interest in art and photography which produced many memorable and beautiful works. He was also a gifted musician who could put on impromptu performances to any size audience, and his audiences loved it. His culinary expertise was also quite impressive. He could cook the most amazing and healthy dishes. Eating at his home was always a pleasure. For many years he was the Vice President of Marketing at Sunset Foods. He created Sunset's newsletter, managed their promotional advertising, was the face of Sunset at many events while helping them push into more organic food choices. He also owned a yoga studio, Shri and taught mindfulness. In the past few years, he started trading, writing and learning to surf.

But, Thaddeus Jude's true calling and talent was to be a father to his miracle son, Teddy. His whole life revolved around helping Teddy learn and grow. He took the time to expose Teddy to life experiences very few people ever get to do. He would take Teddy everywhere near and far. He and Teddy enjoyed the simple pleasure of spending time with their close friend, Bill Holland. They were a multi-generational trio that would not be denied the joys that life can bring. They meant so much to each other. Thaddeus Jude touched many lives with so much meaning. The world will miss his good heart and fun loving demeanor. Until we see him again in the next life, may he rest in peace.

A visitation for Thaddeus will be held from 8:30 am until the time of mass at 9:30 am on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Church (Christ Our Hope Parish), located at 770 Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL 60035.
