Thais nació en Utah, pero creció en México. Se graduó de la preparatoria Hunter en 2019. De niña se le conocía por su gran bondad y creatividad. A los 13 años le diagnosticaron neuroblastoma; luchó con fuerza y valentía durante esos años, y su fe y determinación inspiraron a muchos. A los 17 años conoció al amor de su vida, Austin, con quien se casó el 19 de noviembre de 2022.Thais amaba a Jesús y el evangelio. La jardinería y los girasoles le daban mucha alegría. Disfrutaba comer tostadas de ceviche, pastas y los frijoles de su mamá; también le gustaba la sandía. Era conocida por su cocina, sus postres y su gran hospitalidad. Todos disfrutaban especialmente de su sopa de lasaña, sus postres de calabaza y su pastel de tres leches. Adoraba a sus mascotas, Bella y Zoey.
Thais deja en duelo a su amado esposo, Austin; a sus padres, Raymundo y Dulce; a sus hermanos, Jennifer y Gael; así como a su abuela, tías, tíos y primos.
Austin y la familia desean expresar su agradecimiento a todo el personal del Hospital Infantil Primary Children's, incluyendo al Dr. Fair del equipo de oncología; a Stacey y Tomoko y al equipo SOAP; al Dr. Miller y al equipo de la UCI.
Se celebrará una ceremonia en su honor el sábado 22 de noviembre de 1:00 p. m. a 2:00 p. m., seguida de una pequeña recepción. La familia invita a los asistentes a vestir ropa informal de color amarillo o colores vivos para celebrar la vida de Thais; ella deseaba esos colores.
