Theo Harley "Teddy" Tillery, Jr., 78, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2025. Born on April 24, 1947, in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Theo Harley Tillery, Sr. and Juana Maria Rodriguez-Santiago.

Teddy earned his Associate's Degree in Marketing from Southern Oregon State and, on June 17, 1978, married the love of his life, Winona, in Ashland, Oregon. They shared 47 wonderful years together. Over the years, he lived in Juana Díaz, PR; Ketchikan, Alaska; Oklahoma City, OK; Ashland, OR; and finally Charlotte, NC.

He retired from Banctec in 1995 after a career that spanned the manufacturing engineering field as well as the retail automotive and grocery industries.

Teddy was a happy, social, and fun-loving man who made friends wherever he went. He loved woodworking, camping, fishing, traveling, and visiting Puerto Rico. Entertaining was one of his greatest joys-he loved nothing more than gathering with family and friends to celebrate life.

He and Winona were especially proud of their son, Antonio, and daughter-in-law, Ibeth Greer. The light of Teddy's life was his grandson, Bryson Greer.

Teddy is also survived by his sister, Sadie Bugbee; nephew Eddie Bugbee; niece Bethany Bugbee; nephew Chris Bugbee; sister Carmen Adams and her husband David; nieces Catherine Adams and Abigail Adams; niece, Kim James, Nephew Gregg Tillery, niece Kam Hosling niece Kay Tillery and sister-in-law Teresa Tillery.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Jackson Tillery.

Teddy will be remembered for his warmth, laughter, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
