Theodore F. Arnold

Theodore F. Arnold Jr., age 91, of Exeter, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. He was born on June 21, 1934, in Derry, New Hampshire, to the late Theodore F. Arnold Sr. and Hilda A. Hunt (Towne).

Theodore proudly served his country in the United States Navy and went on to dedicate many years of service as a clerk with the United States Postal Service. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to helping others.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan (Hanson) Arnold; his sisters, Betty and Joan; and his parents.

Theodore is survived by his loving children: Lynn, Laurie, Tim, Tammy & husband Mark. He also leaves behind six grandchildren (Corey, Nicole, Kyle, Nick and wife Amanda, Jacob and wife Jessica and Ben). Three great-grandchildren (Sophia, Arabella, Elijah who brought him immense pride and joy.

A devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Theodore (known to many as Gramps) will be remembered for his kindness and unwavering love for his family. He cherished time spent with his loved ones and took pride in his life of service and dedication.

Family and friends will forever hold his memory close in their hearts.

Visiting hours will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Rd, Exeter, NH on Wednesday, February 18 from 4-6 pm with a funeral service following.

A graveside service will be held at the Exeter Cemetery Thursday, February 19th at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Liberty House veterans organization or a veteran organization of your choice.
