I was just at the dermatologist today and thought of Rick. I told the dermatologist that I had a friend who used to drive a cab while we were in college. Oddly he had a tan on the left side of his face and left arm the other side was completely white.I think I mentioned before we were roommates in college, Just wanted y’all to know I’m still thinking about him. Ask brother George what he did with the piranha Rick and I kept in a fish tank in the apartment.

Rick had worked for my husband, Ed Galeski, at Galeski Photo Center back in the early 70's. I know Eddie was always fond of him, and I thought the world of Rick. I last saw him at a reunion we had about 8 years ago of the Galeski employees.
I tried to locate his wife so I could talk with her, but have been unable to find her.
I want to send my heart felt best wishes to his family, and may the wonderful memories you have, help you through this hard time.
Sincerely,
Carrie Galeski, Hanover, VA

Rick and I were friends in High School. Later we shared an apartment on Chamberlain Ave. before we both graduated from college, got married, and went in the Army. I have great memories riding around Richmond in Rick's Fiat 500. He had it tricked out with a loud speaker and we had a lot of fun with that. He also had a pet piranha fish in the apartment...very cool. I believe George got it after we went in the army. Rick and I were great fans of The Man From Uncle...at times we would imagine we are the main characters...with Rick being Ilya Kuryakin and I Napoleon Solo. He had a great imagination and plenty of energy and interests.
After college we drifted in different directions...I often think about Rick and those days. More recently since the advent of the new Fiat 500. My best to George, Wini and the rest of the family.

I was privileged to work with Rick @ Signet/Bank of VA. He was highly intelligent and very creative. A real go-getter with a gentle soul. Sad to see that he is gone.

I remember Ricky and his rosey cheeks so well from St. Elizabeth Parocial School. I saw him often when at BHS and I was at ST. Gertrudes. I saw Ricky and his family a few times at Naylor's Beach near Tappahannock many years ago and we said hello. So sorry to hear about his death...Sheila Holliday Talley
