It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Theodore "Ted" Hyle Jr. on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the age of 85. Theodore, known affectionately as Ted, was the devoted husband of Joanne (nee Whalen) Hyle and the late Nicole (nee Kunz) Hyle, the loving father of Ted (Jen) Hyle III, Catherine (Dean) Moulas, Tom (Judy) Hyle, Jennifer Loeb, and Stephen (Arianna) Loeb, and the cherished grandfather of Nicholas Hyle, Nicole Moulas, Andrew Moulas, Emma Moulas, Henry Hyle, Hayes Hyle, Zane (Erin) Williams, Jorden Williams, Francesca Loeb, Alessandro Loeb, and the late Ian Williams. Dear brother of Rita (Bob) Wetterstroem, Francis (Nancy) Hyle, the late Clara (late George) Spaeth and the late Robert (Sue) Hyle. Brother-in-law of Kenn (Elaine) Kunz. Also survived by close relatives and friends.
Throughout his life, Ted prioritized family above all else, finding joy in the simple pleasures of playing golf, watching XU Basketball, and celebrating holidays with those he held dear.
Visitation to celebrate Ted's life will take place at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Road, on Thursday (September 26) from 5 pm to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ignatius Church on Friday (September 27) at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597.
Ted's departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through the memories he created. May he rest in peace. Online condolences can be shared at frederickfh.com.
