Theodore Charles Tebo (age 70) was taken into the hands of the angels in a tragic auto accident on June 3, 2022. Ted was born in Michigan on March 11, 1952. Throughout his life he lived many years in Michigan, Florida, Oregon, Alaska, Washington and upon retirement, Ted & Margaret settled in Congress, Arizona. Ted worked as a mechanic, truck driver, equipment operator, project manager on a large subdivision development as well as other trades. Ted was a positive forward moving man and well respected in many facets of his life. He obtained his private pilot's license and scuba certification while in Alaska. Ted enjoyed spending time with family, racing cars, playing golf with friends and rebuilding Margaret several kitchens!
Ted was a true caretaker of others from a very young age, always there to help anyone. He was always a dedicated hard worker, learning most of his trades through "the school of hard knocks". Ted made several longtime friends while working, traveling and playing golf. He deeply loved Margaret and all of their blended family members, loving them all as his own. He was a man of great integrity with a big heart for all.
In 2020, Ted and Margaret adopted their great grandson Wyatt, committed to giving him a stable life in a loving home. Ted loved Wyatt and worked hard to instill kindness and good values in him during the short time they had together. They shared a special bond that will always be part of what Wyatt becomes as he grows up.
Diagnosed with cancer in 2018, Ted fought a valiant, heroic fight winning the battle after multiple surgeries and treatments. Through it all he maintained a positive attitude, even heading out to play 9 -holes with Tom the morning after treatment. Ted trusted in God to help him beat the cancer, and he was recently declared to be cancer free, only to taken to his permanent home in a different way as part of the Lord's greater plan.
He is survived by his wife (Margaret), father & stepmother (Robert & Dottie Tebo), siblings (Jim & Teddy Tebo, Dave & Debbie Wyckoff, Gail & Wayne Bunton, Bill & Gloria Holcomb, Gwen & Kit Mattoon, Ralph Holcomb), children (Wyatt, Willow, Memory & Jr. Marsh, Amy, Chad, Becky), special grandchildren (Michael Stockman, Kierstyn Kokko & Jordan Marsh) along with many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother (Mary Alice Tebo), father-in-law (Bill Holcomb), siblings (Pam Cocciolone & MontieTebo) and stepson (Jason Stockman).
Ted will be laid to rest in northern Michigan at a later date (TBD), where he will rest with other family members. Per his family's request and wishes, there will be no funeral. Anyone who would like to express their condolence may make a donation in honor of Ted to the American Cancer Society.
My Ted
I believe our love was born from God's great plan, the night I met my beautiful man
As we danced the night away, I knew it then, he would forever stay
We had found that being alone was not a venture
But together we loved, we laughed, each day a new adventure
There was a song written for Ted and I think all would agree
Just look at us, chances are we'll go down in history
When they want to see what true love should be
As I reflect over our years, always together, never no other
We were blessed by the Lord to have found one another
No different from any other, life brought many a rough road
I believe our faith, our love, carried us thru each heavy load
Together we fought to win this last race
Only to find the time has come to set a new pace
Ted is now wrapped by our heavenly father's arms in his permanent home
And our savior carries me as I learn to walk this earth alone
My Love Always, Your Margaret

I met Ted, as Margaret's husband, and was so grateful that she found a man who would treat her well. He was good to her and he was good to me. So sad that a good man has to go. Love you Margaret.

My brother, always looked out for me, accepted my querky ways and never made me feel left out.
I planted two sycamore trees, one in Ted's honor,to give shade for protection from the, that he not be forgotten. And a second one for Wyatt that he grow up to like Ted. Sister Gail Bunton
