Theodore “Teddy” Wilson Stevens, III, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, in Hagerstown, Maryland. Born on April 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Theodore Wilson Stevens, II, and Jane Faye (Wolfe) Stevens.
In addition to his parents, Teddy, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years, Nancy Sue (Grove) Stevens; sisters, Doreen “Tiny” Davis, and Kim Boward.
Teddy was beloved by his family and friends. He seemed to know everyone and was outgoing; many people will miss hearing him tell stories. He was very involved with the Goodwill Little Club in Hagerstown where he would play shuffleboard. Golf was a hobby of his for years, he and his daughter, Yvette, often played together. Having a passion for baseball, he coached American Little League, and later taught his grandson, Rylee, how to play. He and Rylee were best buddies; they often went fishing together.
Teddy is survived by daughters, Yvette Hofer (Doug), Fallon Miller (Taylor), and Lori Stevens, and adored grandson, Rylee.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.at St. Paul’s Reformed Church, 14106 National Pike, Clear Spring, MD 21722.
