Theresa Stulpin Boucher, Bridgewater, Massachusetts - Theresa "Terri" Stulpin Boucher passed away surrounded by family on December 17, 2024. Born on November 21, 1942, in Brockton MA, Theresa was the daughter of the late Alfred Stulpin and Stella (Kidawski) Stulpin.
Theresa was raised in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School, class of 1960. She went on to study bookkeeping at Brockton Business School. Terri was employed at the Julius Tofius Company for over 50 years; starting as a bookkeeper and promoted to treasurer of the company. She served as treasurer until its closing.
In 1964 she met her beloved husband of 58 years, Dennis George Boucher of Brockton, MA. Terri and Dennis were married on October 8, 1966, and settled in Brockton, MA. In 1969, they moved to Bridgewater to raise their two boys, Michael, and Paul.
Theresa had many hobbies. She enjoyed cake decorating and made beautiful, personalized birthday cakes for all her grandchildren. She and her husband Dennis enjoyed raising and showing Afghan Hounds. Together they produced four champion Afghan Hounds.Terri was an active member of the South Shore Kennel Club and the Hockamock Kennel Club and volunteered her time as the treasurer of Hockamok Kennel Club for many years. Theresa and Dennis enjoyed traveling together and took many trips with their sons traveling around the region for dog shows and family vacations. Once the boys grew up, they began to explore the region on weekend trips together throughout the Northeast. Terri and Dennis were also wine enthusiasts who enjoyed attending wine dinners. In 2016 they took a dream trip, a river cruise, traveling through French wine country, where they experienced the culture, foods, and wines of the Bordeaux, Saint-Emilion, Medoc and Margaux region.
In addition to her husband Dennis, Terri is survived by her sons Michael Boucher and his wife Maura (Bell) Boucher of Hingham MA and Paul Boucher of New York City NY. Terri was the beloved grandmother of Sarah, Andrew and Leah of Hingham MA and Hannah of Norwich CT each of whom she adored.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law Susan Weiland and her husband Andrew of Whitefield NH, Nancy Grant of Taunton MA and Patricia Dolan and her husband Stephen of Madison NH. She is also survived by her stepmother Mary Stulpin, stepsister Donna (Dobrazynski) Mikulski and stepbrother Robert Dobrazynski. Along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She is predeceased by her parents Alfred Stulpin and Stella (Kidawski) Stulpin and her sister-in-law Carol (Boucher) Cavanaugh and her husband Donald.
Friends and family are invited to visiting hours at on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 4-7 PM at Chapman Funeral Home, 98 Bedford Street in Bridgwater.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 103 Center St, in Bridgewater.
Burial will follow the funeral at Massachusetts National Cemetery on Connery Avenue, Bourne Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Terri's name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or American Cancer Society.
