Theresa Selina Cammack, born on May 21, 1954, in Richmond, Virginia, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025. She was a cherished member of her community and a dedicated worker throughout her life, having spent many years as a Production Worker at Tyson Foods. Theresa was an alumna of Maggie L. Walker High School in Richmond, where her vibrant spirit began to flourish.
Known for her fun and outgoing personality, she had the remarkable ability to connect with everyone she encountered. Her joy for life was evident through her love of dancing, cooking, and, most importantly, spending quality time with her family. Theresa radiated warmth and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the honor of knowing her.
Theresa is survived by her loving daughter, Dionne Cammack; her adoring grandson, Desmond Cammack; and her precious great-granddaughter, Myasia Young Cammack. She is also remembered fondly by several nieces, including Torwanda Clonon, Sheronda Cammack, and Cassandra Gonzalez, as well as her nephew, Oliver Lee Cammack III, along with many cousins, relatives, and friends who were touched by her presence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacqueline and Oliver Lee Cammack Sr., and her brother, Oliver Lee Cammack Jr., who will welcome her with open arms once again.
Theresa Selina Cammack’s legacy of laughter, love, and unwavering kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
