A woman of unwavering faith and boundless love, she will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM on Friday.

Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.

She was born on February 22, 1936 in Patoutville, Louisiana on her grandparents, Gregory and Therese D'albor's farm. In April 1947, her mother Olympe D'albor, moved the family to St. Martinville where the family lived with their grandmother, Philomene Deblanc Beslin. Theresa was a dedicated mother, wife, sister and friend. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School. She was a longtime devoted member of St. Martin De Tours Catholic Church and also retired from St. Martin De Tours Rectory after 20 years.

Her gentle spirit and faithful service provided a steady anchor throughout her life. Her life was a testament to her belief, and epitomized the Christian values she held so dear.

While her spirit was rooted in her faith, her energetic passion and competitiveness was found on the tennis court, and her love to play cards, specifically Bourre'. An avid and talented tennis player, she was known for her love of the game and the many cherished friends she made on and off the court . Her competitive spirit was matched by her sportsmanship, which brought her so much happiness. Her favorite phrase to those who met her for the first time was "I played competitive tennis until I was 78 years old." Her dear husband, who was her true love, greatest joy, and best friend, taught her how to play tennis when she was 30 years old.

Theresa is survived by her loving children, her daughter Debbie Kenny (Brian), son, Paul Olivier (Missy), son, Jeff Olivier (Karen), daughter, Anne Olivier and son, Kelly Olivier (Loretta), her 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, her wonderful siblings, Leona Logan, Shirley Akers, Jeanne Cole and Agnes "Tootie" Theriot and her 3 cats she absolutely adored and her beloved dog FiFi.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Pat Olivier, mother, O'lympe D'albor, sister Violet (Carl) Medver; brother L.J. D'albor; brothers-in-law Roy Cole and Donald Akers, Sr.; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Pallbearers will be Paul Olivier, Jeff Olivier, Kelly Olivier, Daniel Nelson, Chase Olivier, Brian Kenny and Steve Cole.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hope Health Care and Hospice and all her wonderful caregivers who took such excellent care of mom.
