Theresa Weber, 96, of Winner, SD passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the Winner Regional Long-Term Care Facility in Winner, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 at 10:00AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Winner, SD. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Theresa Claire (Bolander) Weber was born on June 29, 1929 to Cornelius and Anne (Speckman) Bolander. She was born and raised in Winner, SD.

As the second of eleven children, Theresa spent much of her time caring for her younger siblings.

After graduating high school in Winner in 1949, she spent some time in Mitchell learning to be a secretary. That was where she met and married LuVern Weber from Farmer, SD.

To this union were born five children: Debra, Lewis, David, Carol and Belva.

The family settled in Cedar Falls, Iowa where Theresa spent her days caring for and raising the children – and LuVern too.

After the passing of her husband in 1979, Theresa spent her days focusing on raising her children on her own.

In 1993, with the children grown and living away, she moved back to Winner to be close to her childhood friends, family and her roots.

You may recall seeing Theresa as she worked at Pamida as checker #1 or at the thrift store where she volunteered her time. Theresa also volunteered her time as a Catholic Daughter, VFW Auxiliary, and American Legion Auxiliary member.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Richard, Francis, Daniel, Robert and sister Genevieve.

Theresa is survived by brother Donald (Grand Island, NE), sisters; Mary Wellesley (Winner), Loretta (Bobb), Allen (Arlington, TX), Joan Brunkow (Winner) and Diane (Bob) Vrbsky (Colome). Her children; Debra Hadsall (Winner), Lewis (Denise) Weber (Spring Beach, TX), David (Fe) Weber (San Francisco, CA), Carol Moore (Winner), Belva Weber (Winner), twenty grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

"Your quick wit, loving kindness, and deep faith in God will be missed by all".
