Thirkield O'Guinn age 95, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born December 26, 1929 in Cromwell, Oklahoma to Odie Wortham and Icelena (Mustin) Wortham.
She graduated from Douglas Highschool. She worked as a LPN at Oakridge Nursing Home for 25 years. She attended St. Josephs Baptist Church in Wewoka, OK and First Baptist Church in New Lima, OK. She enjoyed gardening, family gatherings, spending time outside, and hanging clothes outside. She loved animals and had alot of stray cats and one dog.
She is preceded in death by her parents Odie and Icelena Wortham, husband, Olean O'Guinn; 1 grandson; siblings, Namond Wortham, James Wortham, William Wortham, LD Wortham, and Edna Robins.
Thirkield is survived by her children, Cleophus O'Guinn and spouse Edie, Melvin O'Guinn and wife Rosetta; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Wortham of Okemah, OK; sister, Caldonia Gilbert of Arbeka, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 22, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Rev. C.E. Cochran officiating. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers: James Griffis, Ronald O'Guinn, James Toles.
Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

We will all miss her. I am praying for her and her family. She was a lovely, well spoken person. She and her husband showed me that they really cared about me. May she rest in peace beside her husband in Heaven. Amen.
