Thomas “Tommy” Mario Nanni, 44, of Clinton, Tennessee, and longtime resident of Philadelphia, Tennessee, passed away on August 5th, 2025.
Tommy was a graduate of Loudon High School and earned his college degree with honors from ITT Technical Institute. He built a successful career in the field of information technology, most notably working with SAIC in Oak Ridge. More recently, Tommy had begun a new chapter, working with the owner of Master Donut in Clinton, TN, where he was learning the art of donut-making and managing the business’s bookkeeping.
He was a passionate gamer and always on the lookout for his next venture. In his younger years, he loved playing soccer and remained an avid fan of sport. He loved watching Tennessee and Michigan football.
His faith was an important part of his life. He grew up attending Faith Lutheran Church in Farragut and later worshipped at Riverview Baptist Church in Loudon and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oak Ridge.
Tommy treasured time with his family. Some of his favorite memories were of summers and Christmases spent in Michigan with his extended family. He will be remembered for his humor, kindness, and the love he showed so freely to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Lewis and Louis W. Nanni Sr.; his special Aunt, Julie Morack; and special Uncle, Christopher “Chris” Nanni Sr.
Tommy is survived by his parents, Louis and Tina Nanni Jr.; his sister, Brenda Miller (Sean); his brother, Dominic Nanni (Michelle); and his niece, Kayla Henry, who was more like a little sister to him. He is also survived by his nieces, Katlyn Brown, Shayla Nanni, and Adalyn Nanni; nephews, Andrew Lee, Trevin Smith, Malik Miller, William Miller, and Jezadiah Henry; and his grandmothers, Arlene Lewis and Audrey Nanni. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 5:00-7:00pm at Loudon Funeral Home a funeral service will follow at 7PM. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 1:30PM at Riverview Cemetery.
