Thomas Joseph Barbee, 54, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Bixby, Oklahoma.
Thomas was born April 27, 1970, at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, to Peter "Paul" Barbee and Nedra Faye (Lumm) Barbee.
While growing up Thomas went to school at West Point in New York, it was only first grade but it counts, and then moved to Dewey, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school.
Thomas then got his associates degree from Pulaski Tech. After that he became an Accounting Assistant and Level 1 technician for Chenal Village residents. He took much pride in his job and loved helping people when they needed him.
For as long as anyone could remember, Thomas's favorite hobbies had been reading and gaming. He was so involved in his gaming that he gave himself the title of "Gaming Slut" as he would play any game with anyone. He achieved his greatest accomplishments when he was knighted in the Arthurian Order of Avalon and when he was admitted in the Dancing Guild of the same Order.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; Paul and Nedra, and a niece, Shelby Barbee.
He leaves his siblings, T.J. (Jennifer) Barbee of Bixby, Oklahoma, Pete (Tanya) Barbee of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Mary (Scott) Bates of Chanute, Kansas, along with his loving nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 1 Chenal Village Circle, Little Rock, AR 72223.
An additional memorial service will be held 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 4, 2025, at Highland Park Baptist Church, 300 SE Washington Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 74006.
