Preceded in death by son, Michael; parents, Henry and Elizabeth Blankman; brothers, Bill, Jack, Joe and Tony Blankman.
Survived by wife, Eileen; daughters, Toni (Russ) DeGeorge and Penny (Doug) Topolski; five grandchildren, Jack, Allie and Madie DeGeorge, Alex and Evan Topolski; great-granddaughter, Kai Topolski; brothers, Tim (Pat) and Duffy (Lynn) Blankman; sister, Mary (Ron) Bruck; sisters-in-law, Meta and Marilynn Blankman; many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Saturday, 12 p.m., Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Chapel. VISITATION: Saturday, 10 a.m., till time of service.

Mike was a great brother- in- law. I always noticed and appreciated how he took care of my sister Eileen. Generous, kind! Loved having him in the family. A wonderful father to my nephew Michael!, Will be missed much!

I remember how much fun had spending a lot of time at my Blankman cousins in Ralston, with his sister Mary and their brother Tony...Mike always included Tony in pretty much of all the crazy things we got into...I will always remember how loving he treated Tony...

My heart felt condolences for the family and friends of Tom Blankman.
From my first visit to the union hall on industrial road to fill out an application , (I believe it was in 1991)Tom just seemed like he had been the Business Manager forever. He had personal family like,connections with every member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 3. He was a great friend and will truly be missed.

We graduated from South High School together and went on to be Union Brothers. I served as Business Rep. with Tom till he moved up to the International level. Tom detected his heart & Soul to the SMWIA & LU # 3. So sorry for your loss Eileen and family may God Bless you all

Ilene and family so sorry for your list of your Tom. I have known Tom since the late seventies. He did so much for Local 3 while he was in office. He gave me good advice when I asked him. He did so much for when he moved up as International Rep, a position that he earned. Tom is respected by his fellow brothers. God bless him.and his family
