Age: 88 of Winslow Township, formerly of Haddon Township
Passed away on April 9,2025. Thomas was the beloved father of Patricia Bowersfield and Thomas Bowersfield, Jr.; adoring grandfather of Weiland Simons and the late Denny Bowersfield; cherished brother of Franci Pasquarella, Judy Guyre, Carolyn Powell and Sandy Young; also survived by former spouse, Lynn Bowersfield as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Tom was a generous man, a dear friend and the best father and grandfather. His life comprised of his proud service in the Army, a foundry, Sinatra, the Yankees and his family – nothing else mattered to him.
He would give you his last dollar and would help you fix your plumbing, even if he just drove 800 miles straight. Of course, a very unique combination of foul language would certainly follow.
Tom's sarcasm and sense of humor could never be duplicated. You couldn't tell if he was being serious or joking; either way, you had to laugh and would most likely be offended.
We will always miss the endless foundry and Army stories and the tales of his travels. He will be deeply missed by those that were blessed to know him.
One thing is for sure he did it his way.
Thomas' family will receive friends & relatives on Saturday, April 26th 10-10:45 AM, at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, 300 E Kings Hwy, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035; where Thomas' Memorial Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Tom may be made to the Purple Heart www.purpleheartfoundation.org/donate/
