Thomas Bushey Obituary
Thomas Wallace Bushey, aged 63, departed this world on December 18, 2025, at CVPH in Plattsburgh, NY. He was born on December 29, 1961, in Plattsburgh, NY to Joseph Bushey and Shirley Laundry.
Tom, as he was affectionately known, spent many hours playing pool with friends, where his competitive nature and infectious laughter lit up every game. In his younger years, he loved strumming his guitar, listening to classic rock, particularly enjoying the tunes of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
To relax, he valued the quiet comfort of a good book and could be often found working on his computer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Thomas is survived by his beloved sister, Elizabeth Bushey, who stood by him through everything.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Au Sable Forks.
Services were entrusted to Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, PO Box 127, 3 College St., Au Sable Forks, NY 12912.
