**Tomas Darío Cabrera**, de 68 años, falleció pacíficamente el 20 de Octubre de 2024 en Tampa, Florida. Nacido el 9 de Abril de 1956 en Santiago, República Dominicana, Tomas fue un querido esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano, sobrino y amigo.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Ana Cabrera; su hija, Ida Davis; y su hijo, Juan C. Lopez. También deja atrás a su yerno Brian Davis y a su nuera Lisbeth Lopez, junto con sus queridos nietos, Liliana Rodriguez, Kevin Rodriguez, Jaden Lopez y Denzel Lopez.

Tomas dedicó su vida a su pasión por la ingeniería mecánica y trabajó como mecánico de mantenimiento, especializándose en la automatización de líneas de ensamblaje. Su experiencia y dedicación fueron admiradas tanto por colegas como por amigos.

Un ávido aficionado al béisbol, era habitual encontrar un juego en la televisión mientras animaba a sus equipos favoritos. Tomas tenía un profundo amor por la naturaleza, y a menudo se le encontraba en su garaje o cobertizo, cultivando su espíritu creativo. Disfrutaba jugar dominó y llenaba su hogar con los vibrantes sonidos de la música merengue y bachata, que lo conectaban con los momentos alegres de su juventud.

Tomas soñaba con retirarse algún día en su querida República Dominicana, un lugar que ocupaba un lugar especial en su corazón. Se le recordará por su calidez, humor y el amor que compartió con todos los que lo conocieron.

Tomas Dario Cabrera, age 68, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024, in Tampa, Florida. Born on April 9, 1956, in Santiago, Dominican Republic, Tomas was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ana Cabrera; daughter, Ida Davis; and son, Juan C. Lopez. He also leaves behind son-in-law Brian Davis and daughter-in-law Lisbeth Lopez, along with his cherished grandchildren, Liliana M. Rodriguez, Kevin Rodriguez, Jaden Lopez, and Denzel Lopez.

Tomas dedicated his life to his passion for mechanical engineering and worked as a maintenance mechanic, specializing in the automation of assembly lines. His expertise and dedication were admired by colleagues and friends alike.

An avid baseball fan, it was customary to find a game on the TV as he cheered for his favorite teams. Tomas had a deep love for the outdoors, often found tinkering in his garage or shed, nurturing his creative spirit. He enjoyed playing dominoes and filled his home with the vibrant sounds of merengue and bachata music, connecting him to the joyful moments of his youth.

Tomas dreamed of one day retiring back to his beloved Dominican Republic, a place that held a special place in his heart. He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
