Thomas Carroll Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Macken Mortuary, Inc. - Rockville Centre on Feb. 5, 2026.
Thomas James Carroll, age 61, passed away suddenly on February 3, 2026. He was born on April 2, 1964 in Manhasset, NY, was raised in East Northport, NY and lived with his wife Christine in Malverne, NY. He graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1982 and went on to obtain an undergraduate degree and Masters of Business Administration from Fordham University. He had a career in finance and was employed as Vice President, Fund Operations at CVC Credit Partners, LLC in New York City.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Christine Lambiase.

He is survived by his loving parents, Francis and Barbara Carroll.

Tom was a loving brother to Patricia, Robert, Margaret, and his twin Timothy. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Robert Feliciano and sister-in-law Trudy Bunch Carroll.

He was a beloved son-in-law of Carol Lambiase and preceded in death by his father-in-law William Lambiase, Sr.

He was a cherished brother-in-law to MariLeigh Carroll, William Lambiase Jr., his wife Kerrin as well as Annmarie Rachoi and husband Robby.

He was an adored, loving "fun uncle" to nieces and nephews: Nicholas Carroll, Brian Carroll, Sarah Feliciano, Sophia Lambiase, Alexandra Lambiase, Lilly Rachoi and Cameron Rachoi. Tom always celebrated them and shared in their interests and many accomplishments.

Tom was a lifelong Long Islander who loved spending time at the beach with his wife, friends and family. Summers will never be the same. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed caring for his yard, plants and flowers. He was proud of the beauty he created. Many have the photos he sent as evidence. Tom loved sports, was a lifelong Yankees, Giants and Ranger fan but really shared in whatever sport or game that was in the moment. Tom embraced the Mets, Islanders and Jets fans in the family shared his support and sympathy. He even enjoyed horseracing, and followed the credo "never bet on the grey horse". Tom was a wine enthusiast and many have shared a glass, or more likely a bottle, from his ever-expanding wine collection. Tom was generous and kind, had a great sense of humor and laughed easily.

Tom will be greatly missed by family and friends who got to share his life. Words will never be enough to express that. We were blessed.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to Rett Syndrome Research at: http:reverserett.org/donate
