Thomas Castrodale Obituary

He was born on August 11, 1953, to Teno and Thelma Castrodale in Brookline. Tom was a lifelong Pittsburgh resident, graduating from South Hills High School in 1971 and receiving a B.A. in History from Duquesne University in 1975. He also attended the Community College of Allegheny County during his lifetime.
Tom had a great interest in history, with a particular focus on the history of Western Pennsylvania. He was an avid reader and postcard collector and dedicated much of his time to volunteering at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum.
The last ten years of his life were spent working at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, a job he enjoyed immensely.
He is survived by his sister, Tina Castrodale, and his nieces, Lily and Gracie Keener.
At his request, there will be no service.
