Houghton
Thomas S. Cichon Sr., 87, a resident of the Arbor Green Senior Living Community in Houghton passed away Saturday June 24, 2023, at the Omega House in Houghton with his family by his side.
He was born on March 22, 1936, in Chicago, IL, a son of the late Joseph W. and Blanche (Petrik) Cichon. Thomas was raised in Cicero, Il, and was a graduate of the JS Morton East High School.
On August 1, 1959, he was united in marriage to the former Evelyn Miller. The couple resided in Cicero while raising their four children.
Mr. Cichon was proud to have worked for Mobil Oil Company retiring in 1989, as a Hot Melt Blender. During that time Mr. Cichon was active with the AFLCIO being a Union Steward.
In retirement, the couple resided in various parts of the Midwest visiting family until moving to make their home at Arbor Green in Houghton in 2021.
Thomas enjoyed working in his Rose Garden's and visiting with family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his brothers; Charles and Joseph along with his mother-in-law and father-in-law.

Thomas (Gina) Cichon of Dublin, CA
Kathleen Burke of Painesdale, MI
His grandchildren: Joseph, Paul, Silas, CJ, Sarah, Santino, & Gianna
His twin great-grandchildren: Micah and Evan
His sister: Carol Wicher of Kingston, Ontario Canada
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
A private prayer service for Thomas will be held at the Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service - Mt. View Chapel of South Range with Fr. John Martignon to officiate.
