He was born on May 24, 1958 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Tom graduated from Harbor Creek High School and was employed as a boiler technician at LORD Corporation for several years.
He was a member of the Erie Siebenbuerger Club and enjoyed watching Pittsburgh sports and his children's dogs.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Sue Fournier Cleary and brother-in-law, James O'Hara.
He is survived by his daughter, Erin Cleary of Erie; son, John Cleary of Erie; and sister, Jacqueline O'Hara of Pittsburgh.
Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Saturday October 12th from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank, 1507 Grimm Dr., Erie, PA 16501. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
